Cisco zoning 시 주의사항
– vsan 구역에 따라 별도의 zone을 구성하니 vsan 번호를 확인 할 것, port,wwn,zone,zoneset 각각 vsan이 할당되어 있으며 같은 vsan 에서 zone 및 zoneset를 구성 할 수 있음.
– 현재 적용된 active zoneset을 포함한 모든 설정정보는 running-config에 저장되며, zone에 대한 정보는 full-zoneset (zone database)에 별도로 저장됨. 여러개의 zoneset를 설정하고 그 중 하나를 vsan NO 에 적용.
active zoneset 정보와 full-zoneset 정보는 기본적으로 같으나 서로 다를 때 “zone copy active-zoneset full-zoneset vsan 2” 명령어로 일치화 필요.
기본적으로 zoneset activate 시 동기화가 이루어짐.

1. 현재 설정된 현황확인
show zoneset active -> 현재 active된 zoneset 확인
show zoneset name ZONESET_NAME vsan 1 -> zoneset name를 넣어서 설정 확인
show zone name ZONENAME vsan 1 -> zone name를 넣어서 설정 확인
show interface brief -> 포트 연결 및 상태 요약
show flogi database -> WWN 연결 정보 확인
show port-license ->현재 port license 할당 현황 확인
2. zoneset / zone 생성
– Default로 vsan 1로 정의되어 있음. 여러 개의 vsan이나 1번이 아닌 다른 vsan을 사용하는 경우 wwn/port를 몪고자 하는 vsan으로 할당할 필요가 있음.(wwn은 소속된 port의 vsan을 따라감. 예외적인 경우는 trunk를 사용해 여러개의 vsan을 사용하는 경우)

zoneset name testzoneset01 vsan 1 -> zoneset testzoneset01 생성
zone name testzone01 -> testzoneset01내 testzone01 생성
member pwwn 21:00:00:24:ff:3e:76:e4 -> testzone01에 pwwn member 추가
member pwwn 21:00:00:24:ff:3e:76:98 -> testzone01에 pwwn member 추가
zone name testzone02 -> testzoneset01내 testzone02 생성
member pwwn 21:00:00:24:ff:3e:76:e4 -> testzone02에 pwwn member 추가
member pwwn 21:00:00:24:ff:3e:76:98 -> testzone02에 pwwn member 추가
end -> config terminal에서 나옴.
3. zoneset 적용 및 설정 저장
zoneset 단위로 적용, brocade의 cfg 개념
show zoneset name testzoneset01 vsan 1
config terminal
zoneset activate name testzoneset01 vsan 1

4. fcalias 사용, alias를 이용하여 port, wwn 말고 정의된 name로 설정

5. zoneset 구성변경 (zone 삭제/추가)
zoneset내 zone 삭제

switch(config-zoneset)# no member ZONE_NAME
switch(config-zoneset)# exit
switch(config)# zoneset activate name ZONESET_NAME vsan 1

switch# copy running-config startup-config
zoneset내 zone 추가

switch(config)# zone name NEWZONE_NAME vsan 1

6. zoneset 백업하기 및 기타
zone copy active-zoneset full-zoneset vsan 1 -> full zoneset로 전체 설정 복사
full zoneset로 복사해도 기존 zoneset와 동일한 이름이라 복사본을 만들기는 부적절 복사본을 위해서는 아래 명령어 사용.
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)# zoneset clone OLDNAME NEWNAME vsan 1
switch(config)# zone clone OLDNAME NEWNAME vsan 1
현재 config를 백업파일로 저장
switch# copy running-config bootflash:zoneset_backup_20261026.cfg
zoneset 내에서 zone이름 검색, 파이프와 include를 이용하여 필요한 정보를 검색
show zoneset name Zoneset_Name | include Zone_Name
