Brocade SAN Switch root password recovery (rebooting 필요)

** Fabric OS v4.1 이상 버전에서 적용가능.
** 리부팅시 정상 OS 부팅을 하지 않고 prom 상태에서 single 모드로 부팅하여 패스워드 변경.
** Serial port 연결 필요.

1. Serial 연결.(8-N-1(None))

2. H/W 강제 리부팅. 부팅시
“Press escape within 4 seconds to enter boot interface.” 상태에서  “ESC” 키를 눌러 “3) Enter command shell” 을 선택하여 Prom으로 진입

3. 옵션 3번 “Enter command shell.” 을 선택하여 prom shell로 진입
“printenv” 명령으로 현재 OSLoader 확인. 1번째 loader을 지정하여 -s(single) 모드로 부팅.

4. single mode로 부팅되면 “/” 파티션을 rw옵션으로 remount 하고,
secondly boot device를 /mnt에 마운트(이전의 printenv에서 참조, passwddefault 명령 실행 및 리부팅.

5. rebooting이후 Brocade Default 값인 “admin”, “password”로 설정 reset되어 로그인이 가능함.
